Dr. Redmond grew up in rural Michigan and went to Michigan State University for her undergraduate and veterinary degree. Her initial passion was with horses and she started her veterinary career at thoroughbred and harness horse race tracks As her family grew to three children, Dr. Redmond transitioned into small animal medicine at Dandy Acres Veterinary Clinic in South Lyon MI. She eventually became owner of the veterinary clinic where she spent 15 rewarding years developing a strong connection to her staff, clients and patients. Dr. Redmond most recent career as an Attending Veterinarian for LabCorp transferred her to Pennsylvania more than 10 years ago. She fell in love with the rolling hills, farmland and woods and she and her husband purchased an old stone farmhouse near Leesport. She enjoys the outdoors and nature and spends her free time landscaping and caring for her cats, dogs, chickens, goats and koi fish. She looks forward to getting to know you and helping to care for your beloved pets.
