Animal Hospital has complete coverage for your pet's after hours emergency
needs.
If you have an emergency after the hospital has closed, please call the regular hospital number at 610- 926-8866 and follow the recorded message for reaching the after hours answering service.
During the week our own veterinarians are on-call from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Then from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., you will be referred to a local 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital, such as Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in Norristown, PA, Veterinary Referal Service in Malvern, or Valley Central in Allentown, PA. These facilities provide 24-hour care and are staffed with doctors and nurses for the most critical emergencies that cannot wait until the morning.
During the week our veterinarians share calls with Wyomissing Animal Hospital (WAH) doctors from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. From 12:00 noon Saturday, until 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning, you will be referred to the Berks County Animal Emergency Service (AES) located on Kenhorst Blvd. in Shillington (610- 775-7535.
On Sundays, our affiliated hospital, Wyomissing Animal Hospital, is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for services for our clients. Then from 11:00 a.m. Sunday, until 8:00 a.m. Monday morning, you will be referred to AES.
So remember, in the event of an emergency, simply call our regular hospital phone number at 610-926-8866 to reach the answering service and they will direct you appropriately.
